Portfolio company Noetix Robotics recently announced two consecutive funding rounds — its Series A and A+ — totaling over 100 million yuan. To date, Noetix Robotics has completed five rounds of financing and has launched a new fundraising plan to further advance R&D and market expansion.

Noetix Robotics is a technology company focused on humanoid robots and embodied AI. Its bipedal humanoid robots can perform high-dynamic movements including running, jumping, single-leg hops, and backflips, while its bionic humanoid robots can display different expressions and interact naturally with humans.

Unity Ventures believes that as technology continues to break new ground and multimodal perception and hardware iterate rapidly, embodied AI is particularly critical for long-term positioning and ecosystem capture. Noetix Robotics chose to enter the market with complete robot systems, and currently offers multiple product lines including full-size humanoids, compact humanoids, and bionic heads — all with significant cost advantages and orders approaching one thousand units. The team combines strong technical credentials with exceptional execution, ambition, and grit. They are a young, driven group, and we look forward to more surprises from Noetix.

Hard Kr has learned that humanoid robotics company Noetix Robotics (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Noetix Robotics") recently completed two consecutive funding rounds — its Series A and A+ — totaling over 100 million yuan. The A+ round was led by BinFu Capital, with follow-on investment from Huaqiang Capital. The Series A investors included Shenqi Capital, Beijing Future Science City Fund, Tianqi Capital, Zeran Capital, and a strategic investor from the education technology sector.

To date, Noetix Robotics has completed five rounds of financing and has launched a new fundraising plan to further advance R&D and market expansion.

Founded in September 2023, Noetix Robotics is a technology company focused on humanoid robots and embodied AI. Its main products include bipedal humanoid robots and bionic humanoid robots. The bipedal humanoid robots can perform running, jumping, single-leg hops, backflips, and other high-dynamic movements; the bionic humanoid robots can display different expressions and interact naturally with humans. Its products have already been deployed in scientific research and education, exhibition displays, cultural tourism guided tours, and other fields, and are gradually expanding into elder care companionship, industrial inspection, and urban security scenarios.

As artificial intelligence technology continues to advance, the humanoid robotics industry is entering a golden period of development. According to CAICT projections, China's market will reach 2–5 billion yuan between 2024 and 2028, driven primarily by demand from research institutions. The global humanoid robotics industry is currently at a critical transition from laboratory technology validation to early commercialization, with its core momentum coming from the synergistic breakthroughs in hardware materials and AI.

Noetix Robotics founder Zheyuan Jiang told Hard Kr, "The main challenges facing the humanoid robotics industry right now are the lack of general-purpose controllers for the lower body and insufficient generalization in upper-body manipulation — and these have become the biggest bottlenecks for commercialization. We're relatively leading in motion control technology, with fast iteration, and we've also achieved mass production and delivery capabilities." The humanoid robot N2, with its compact design and agile movement performance, achieves large-stride walking, human-like running, jumping, and other high-dynamic movements, with a maximum speed of 3.5 m/s. It has also demonstrated the ability to perform consecutive standing backflips.

Noetix Robotics's core technology lies in its multi-degree-of-freedom hardware platform, deep reinforcement learning, and multimodal interaction large models. Its self-developed servo motors, motion control algorithms, and other technologies provide strong support for the high integration and intelligence of humanoid robots. Additionally, Noetix Robotics focuses on enhancing the motion control and perceptual computing capabilities of humanoid robots. Through reinforcement learning and imitation learning, its humanoid robots can walk with straight legs in a human-like manner, pick up packages, take out the trash, and perform other tasks.

Based on these three core technologies, the company has built a comprehensive product matrix spanning "bipedal walking," "bionic interaction," "upper-body manipulation," and "general-purpose humanoid robots." Its current core products include the N series with exceptional athletic performance, general-purpose humanoid robots with strong upper-body manipulation capabilities, and the bionic robot Hobbs for entertainment guided tours and service companionship.

The N series emphasizes compliant upper-body manipulation, while the general-purpose humanoid robot E series focuses more on the coordination of upper and lower body capabilities. Both robots are currently priced under 100,000 yuan. In addition, Noetix Robotics partners with the education sector to provide supporting curricula, selling through lease-to-own arrangements or outright purchase. It also collaborates with Peking University, Tsinghua University, and other leading institutions to recruit students with no prior experience and train them as engineers through reinforcement learning, validating the effectiveness of its curricula.

To date, the company has secured purchase orders totaling tens of millions of yuan, concentrated in scientific research and education, teaching equipment, and exhibition displays. This year, it plans to complete deliveries of nearly one thousand units while further expanding humanoid robot applications across multiple scenarios.

Noetix Robotics currently has over 50 employees, with R&D staff accounting for more than 85%. Core team members hail from leading research institutions including Tsinghua University and Zhejiang University. Founder Zheyuan Jiang serves as chairman and CTO, with significant research achievements in robotics. Chief Scientist Chenxu Hu specializes in multimodal AI research, with deep expertise in multimodal interaction.
