Selection Criteria
For this year's rankings, Diyixinsheng organized its 2025 survey (the 20th consecutive quarter) of nearly 100 institutions, focusing on domestic firms' investment and transaction volume, deal value, fundraising and IPO performance, market influence, and any major negative developments. Data was drawn primarily from self-reported institutional submissions and direct research, supplemented by public data from IT Juzi and Tianyancha.
Diyixinsheng noted that in 2025, China's equity investment market completed a critical shift from "scale expansion" to "value creation" amid deep structural adjustment. For the full year, investment activity demonstrated resilience through volatility, with a pronounced "year-end rally" in Q4 — both market activity and capital scale exceeded annual averages, delivering strong momentum to close out the year. Meanwhile, China's GDP grew 5.0% year-over-year, meeting the annual target, with the stable macroeconomic outlook providing a solid foundation for the structural optimization of the equity investment market. The investment logic around technological innovation underwent a profound shift in 2025, as venture capital's microscope moved from surface-level metrics down to underlying technology.
