Qiming Venture Partners Portfolio Company UBTECH Lands $250 Million Humanoid Robot Order, Setting New Global Single-Contract Record
UBTECH has partnered with well-known companies in new energy vehicle manufacturing, 3C manufacturing, and smart logistics. Its industrial humanoid robot, the Walker S series, has become the humanoid robot deployed for training in the largest number of factories globally.

Following its near-100-million-yuan record — the largest single humanoid robot order globally — in July, UBTECH (09880.HK), a Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company, has broken another record by signing a 250-million-yuan procurement contract for embodied AI humanoid robot products and solutions with a well-known domestic enterprise. The contract centers on the humanoid robot Walker S2 (featuring an autonomous hot-swappable battery system), with UBTECH set to begin delivery this year. This marks the largest contract in the global humanoid robot sector to date.
According to publicly available data, UBTECH's Walker series humanoid robots have secured contracts totaling nearly 400 million yuan to date (including the nearly 50-million-yuan humanoid robot order for H1 already delivered). This figure does not include orders for Tiangong Xingzhe, the full-size research and education humanoid robot jointly launched by UBTECH and the Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center in March.
UBTECH has already established partnerships with leading companies across new energy vehicle manufacturing, 3C manufacturing, and smart logistics — including BYD, Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor, Geely Auto, FAW-Volkswagen Qingdao Branch, Audi-FAW, BAIC Group, Foxconn, and SF Express. Its industrial humanoid robot Walker S series has become the humanoid robot deployed in the largest number of factory training sites worldwide.

In July this year, UBTECH unveiled its next-generation humanoid robot Walker S2. The robot features the world's first autonomous battery swap technology, enabling 24/7 uninterrupted operation. Through the upgraded BrainNet 2.0 and the self-developed Co-Agent — the world's first intelligent agent technology purpose-built for industrial humanoid robot bodies — it constructs a dual AI loop, achieving spiraling evolution between single-robot autonomy and swarm coordination. Through real-world training scenarios, UBTECH's humanoid robots have made rapid iterative progress, steadily earning customer recognition and orders.
This new 250-million-yuan contract for Walker S2 — again the largest in the global humanoid robot sector — will significantly accelerate UBTECH's ability to enhance humanoid robot capabilities in real-world applications.
