Recently, S&P Global's Sustainability Yearbook (China Edition) 2025 was officially released. Qiming Venture Partners Leads B+ Round
Recently, leading domestic semiconductor metrology and inspection equipment company Jiangling Technology announced the successful completion of its Series B and B+ financing rounds, with Qiming Venture Partners leading the B+ round. The proceeds will be primarily used for new product R&D and scaled production capacity deployment.
Founded in 2018, Jiangling Technology is dedicated to providing advanced optical metrology and inspection equipment for global semiconductor customers, striving to become a top-tier semiconductor metrology and inspection equipment company in Asia. Through long-term deep cultivation in high technical barrier fields and continuous innovation breakthroughs, Jiangling Technology has successfully achieved independent innovation of multiple high-end metrology and inspection equipment, filling domestic technological gaps in this area.

Expanding Robotaxi Commercial Operations and Overseas Markets
Recently, Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company WeRide (NASDAQ:WRD) signed a deepened strategic cooperation agreement with Tencent Cloud to further advance the two parties' long-term deep collaboration in Robotaxi large-scale commercial operations, intelligent driving technology R&D, and overseas market expansion.
Under the agreement, both parties will jointly advance the large-scale commercial operation of L4 autonomous driving Robotaxi, integrating WeRide's Robotaxi services into WeChat's "Travel Services," Tencent Maps, and other applications to bring users a safer, more convenient, and more comfortable autonomous driving travel experience. Tencent will also provide cloud and map data services for WeRide's Robotaxi technology R&D and commercial operations.
For global development, both parties will jointly build intelligent driving solutions targeting overseas markets. Recently, Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company Gan & Lee Pharmaceuticals (603087.SH) announced that its self-developed basal insulin and glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonist (GLP-1RA) fixed-ratio combination weekly formulation GZR102 Injection has completed first-patient dosing in a Phase 1 clinical study in overweight adults in China.
This innovative drug combines insulin weekly formulation (GZR4 Injection) and GLP-1RA bofanglutide (development code: GZR18 Injection) in a fixed ratio. Recently, Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company InventisBio (688382.SH) announced that a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase 2 clinical study evaluating the efficacy and safety of its TYK2 inhibitor D-2570 (Nomelcitinib) in moderate to severe active ulcerative colitis has completed first-patient dosing at Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine.
D-2570 (Nomelcitinib) is a novel oral selective TYK2 inhibitor self-developed by InventisBio. It works by selectively binding to the pseudokinase domain JH2 of TYK2, inhibiting TYK2 kinase activity, thereby blocking TYK2-dependent cytokine signal transduction-mediated STAT protein phosphorylation, suppressing inflammatory factor release, and participating in immune modulation.
03/ Bioray Laboratories to Present Latest Data on RD06-03 for Relapsed or Refractory Acute B-Lymphoblastic Leukemia
Recently, Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company Bioray Laboratories announced it will present Phase 1 clinical data on its CD19-targeted allogeneic CAR-T cell product RD06-03 in patients with relapsed or refractory acute B-lymphoblastic leukemia (R/R B-ALL) in poster format at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting.
RD06-03 uses genetic modification to prevent fratricide, graft-versus-host disease (GvHD), and host-versus-graft rejection (HvG) while enhancing anti-tumor activity. RD06-03 can be manufactured in a single batch for multiple patients, enabling "off-the-shelf" availability whenever CAR-T therapy is needed.
04/ Sanegene Bio's siRNA Drug for Complement Diseases Approved for Clinical Trials in China
Recently, Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company Sanegene Bio announced that its independently developed small interfering RNA (siRNA) drug SGB-3383 injection, targeting CFB, has received implied clinical trial approval from the Center for Drug Evaluation (CDE) of the National Medical Products Administration (acceptance number: CXHL2500238). The drug is indicated for complement-mediated kidney diseases, including IgA nephropathy, C3 glomerulopathy, immune complex-mediated membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis, and atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome.

SGB-3383 is an RNAi therapy targeting Complement Factor B (CFB), delivered to hepatocytes via Sanegene Bio's uniquely innovative next-generation GalNAc liver delivery platform. It treats complement-mediated kidney diseases by suppressing CFB expression in the liver through RNA interference. Preclinical data shows that SGB-3383 significantly and durably reduces CFB levels in the liver and blood, with favorable safety and tolerability profiles. Currently, no complement-targeting siRNA drug has been approved globally. SGB-3383 is poised to become China's first and a world-leading CFB-targeting siRNA drug.
05/ Abbisko Pharma's Irpagratinib Receives Breakthrough Therapy Designation in China for Hepatocellular Carcinoma
Recently, Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company Abbisko Pharma (02256.HK) announced that its independently developed highly selective small-molecule FGFR4 inhibitor irpagratinib (Irpagratinib/ABSK011) has received Breakthrough Therapy Designation from the Center for Drug Evaluation (CDE) of the National Medical Products Administration for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Irpagratinib is the first drug to employ targeted molecular biomarkers for precision treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma.

Currently, patients with advanced or unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma lack effective treatment options following ICI and mTKI therapy. Patients with FGF19 overexpression often have poorer prognoses, creating an urgent need for new therapeutic alternatives. The Breakthrough Therapy Designation for irpagratinib will help accelerate subsequent regulatory filings and approvals, bringing new hope to patients with substantial unmet medical needs. Abbisko Pharma's pivotal registrational clinical study for irpagratinib has officially launched at Tongji Hospital Affiliated with Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Nanjing Tianyinshan Hospital.

Recently, Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company Shize Biotech officially announced that its independently developed "world's first" allogeneic universal "off-the-shelf" iPSC-derived subtype-specific neural cell therapy has received complete, no-questions-asked approval from both the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) and the FDA for registrational clinical trials in the treatment of major neurological disease spinal cord injury.

As the "world's first" registrational clinical trial for regenerative treatment of spinal cord injury using regenerative spinal cord region-specific neural progenitor cell therapy, the study will be led by Professor Rong Limin, President of the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University and a top expert in spinal cord injury diagnosis and treatment, as the principal clinical center and overall clinical lead. Professor Liu Jing, Party Secretary of the First Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University and President of the Dalian Stem Cell and Precision Medicine Innovation Research Institute, will serve as the co-principal clinical center and co-clinical lead.

Abogen Biosciences Launches Phase 1 Clinical Trials for Two Novel mRNA Vaccines
Recently, Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company Abogen Biosciences announced that two independently developed novel mRNA vaccines — a lyophilized respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccine (code: ABO1105) and a lyophilized varicella-zoster virus (VZV) vaccine (code: ABO1108) — have sequentially launched Phase 1 clinical trials in Guangxi.

Both ABO1105 and ABO1108 employ Abogen Biosciences' proprietary base modification technology, which overcomes Nobel Prize-level patent barriers, and the company's proprietary lipid nanoparticle (LNP) delivery system. The core component of this system is China's only ionizable lipid validated through large-scale Phase 3 clinical trials and protected by independent intellectual property rights.
Both vaccines also utilize Abogen Biosciences' mature lyophilized formulation process, enabling stable storage at 2-8°C for over two years with excellent stability, storage convenience, and accessibility. They are expected to provide safer and more effective vaccine solutions for the prevention of RSV and VZV infections.
Additionally, both leverage Abogen Biosciences' proprietary protein structure and RNA sequence design platform. Through optimized mutation site combinations for protein structure engineering, codon optimization, and UTR screening, the mRNA sequences' immunogenicity and druggability are enhanced, with full independent intellectual property protection.

Recently, the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) website showed that the KRAS G12C inhibitor Aireka® (generic name: glecirasib), independently developed by Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company Jacobio Pharma (01167.HK), has been officially approved for market, with an indication for KRAS G12C-mutated non-small cell lung cancer in patients who have received at least one systemic therapy. Recently, international testing, inspection, and certification body DEKRA awarded Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company AXera the ASIL B/D functional safety product certification for its automotive M57 series chips. This marks another important advance in the safety and reliability of AXera's automotive chips, providing solid assurance for the M57 series' application in the global assisted driving market.

This certification marks another milestone for AXera, following its ISO 26262:2018 ASIL D functional safety process certification and M76H chip ASIL B functional safety product certification in January 2024, and its "NPU Toolchain Pulsar2" TCL3 automotive functional safety toolchain certification in December 2024. It signifies that the M57 series SoC's functional safety architecture, design implementation, and safety coverage meet the internationally recognized automotive functional safety standard ISO 26262 ASIL B/D requirements, achieving world-class standards. Recently, Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company DeepWay successfully delivered its first batch of 30 new energy heavy-duty trucks to Heibao Logistics, a leading Chinese less-than-truckload (LTL) logistics enterprise, helping launch China's first dedicated new energy LTL logistics network. This delivery represents another major breakthrough for DeepWay in the LTL logistics sector and reflects Heibao Logistics' firm commitment to advancing green, low-carbon transportation.
DeepWay's heavy-duty trucks adhere to a forward-design philosophy, driving market breakthroughs through continuous technological innovation. In just two years, DeepWay has cumulatively delivered over 4,500 intelligent new energy heavy-duty trucks across China, covering more than 20 provinces and municipalities, and has secured hundred-unit-level orders in multiple regions. Pulis Biotech Presents at WHA78 Thematic Seminar and High-Level Side Event
During the 78th World Health Assembly (WHA78), Tsinghua University's Vanke School of Public Health and the Geneva Health Forum co-hosted a thematic seminar on "China's Medical Technology Innovation and Its Impact on Global Health." Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company Pulis Biotech was invited to participate as a representative of China's molecular diagnostic technology innovators. Pulis Biotech founder and chief scientist Professor Song Yangzhou delivered a speech, sharing how near-patient molecular diagnostic technology can empower primary healthcare systems and improve diagnostic equity and accessibility.

During WHA78, a high-level side event titled "Innovation in Financing and New Technologies to End TB" was held in Geneva, Switzerland, co-hosted by the Stop TB Partnership and Health Innovation Exchange. In the "Innovation in Action Panel" thematic discussion, Professor Song Yangzhou introduced Pulis Biotech's near-patient molecular diagnostic platform MiniDock, designed for primary healthcare systems. The platform supports both sputum and tongue swab samples, with results available in 5–25 minutes and manual operation time of only 1–2 minutes. It requires no cold chain or laboratory conditions and is suitable for diverse scenarios within primary service networks. Tongue swabs serve as a supplementary sampling method for individuals unable to provide sputum samples (such as children, elderly patients, and immunocompromised populations), expanding the applicability and coverage of tuberculosis detection in primary healthcare systems.
Professor Song Yangzhou noted that the challenge of tuberculosis cannot be solved by technology alone; coordinated mechanisms must be established between diagnosis, policy, financing, and service systems. "My team and I have always hoped to bring tangible improvements to society through technological innovation—not just enhancing diagnostic efficiency, but bringing more equitable and accessible health protection to more people."
