Yuanbao Inc. Donates Medical Supplies Worth RMB 100,000 to Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia

Recently, medical supplies worth RMB 100,000 donated by Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company Yuanbao Inc. (NASDAQ: YB) — five defibrillator units — arrived safely in Zhuozi County, Ulanqab City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

The three medical defibrillator monitors and two automated external defibrillators (AEDs) donated by Yuanbao address critical shortages in Zhuozi County. AEDs, which can be operated by non-medical personnel, are life-saving devices for cardiac arrest patients. The equipment has been distributed by the county Red Cross to relevant departments at the county people's hospital and to township police stations under the county public security bureau.

MedSci Health Receives Wind ESG AA Rating

Recently, global financial data provider Wind unveiled its 2025 ESG ratings. Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company MedSci Health (SEHK: 2415) earned a Wind ESG AA rating for its outstanding performance in environmental, social, and governance practices.

Minghui Pharma Raises $131 Million in Pre-IPO Round Qiming Venture Partners Co-Leads

Recently, Minghui Pharma, a late-stage clinical biopharmaceutical company focused on oncology and autoimmune diseases, announced the completion of a $131 million Pre-IPO financing round co-led by Qiming Venture Partners. Proceeds will advance Minghui Pharma's clinical programs, with a focus on its PD-1/VEGF bispecific antibody and combination strategies with antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), as well as support the commercial launch in China of its topical JAK inhibitor.

Recently, Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company Hesai Technology (NASDAQ: HSAI) and Vbot, China's first consumer-grade embodied AI company, formally announced a deep strategic partnership.

This collaboration aims to drive breakthrough progress in robotic perception systems. By deeply integrating lidar with AI, the two companies are enabling robots to not only perceive the world with precision but also interact with flexibility — pressing the "accelerator" on the commercialization of embodied AI and creating the industry's first smart companion robot.

East China University of Science and Technology Professor Gu Zhen's Team and Prismlab Launch Technical Solution Combining Precision Signal Capture with Convenience

Professor Gu Zhen's team at East China University of Science and Technology has partnered with Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company Prismlab to combine their Tri-PLA-RCA technology with micro-nano 3D-printed microfluidic chips, meeting clinical demand for a technical solution that can "precisely capture subtle signals while maintaining convenience."

The breakthrough lies in an ingenious "triple recognition" design: like using three keys to open a lock simultaneously, the signal is only activated when the target protein, sialylation site, and cis-diol site on the glycan chain are all recognized — fundamentally preventing false positives. Meanwhile, Prismlab's micro-nano 3D-printed ExoTRAP chip functions like a "miniature laboratory," compressing the entire exosome capture, washing, and detection workflow into a compact format. Processing time is reduced from 24 hours to 3 hours, with detection sensitivity reaching 2.81 × 10³ particles/mL — equivalent to precisely identifying a few specific nanoparticles in a liter of water. This "precision plus efficiency" combination fills the gap between conventional technology and clinical needs.

Gan & Lee Pharmaceuticals' GZR102 Injection Completes First Patient Dosing in China Phase 2 Clinical Study

Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company Gan & Lee Pharmaceuticals (603087.SH) recently announced that its self-developed basal insulin/glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonist (GLP-1RA) fixed-ratio combination weekly formulation, GZR102 Injection, has completed first-patient dosing in a Phase 2 clinical study in Chinese adults with type 2 diabetes (T2DM).

Basal insulin/GLP-1RA combination formulations are expected to simplify T2DM treatment regimens, delivering potent glucose-lowering effects while reducing adverse effects associated with basal insulin therapy such as weight gain and hypoglycemia — achieving "enhanced efficacy with fewer side effects" and improving patient adherence. Compared with traditional daily formulations, long-acting weekly formulations significantly reduce dosing frequency (by over 80% annually), potentially improving the treatment experience and long-term adherence. Currently, no basal insulin/GLP-1RA fixed-ratio combination weekly formulation has been approved globally. GZR102 Injection's rapid advancement into Phase 2 clinical trials positions it as a leading candidate in China for combination diabetes therapy, further broadening Gan & Lee's product pipeline in diabetes treatment.

Huashan Hospital Officially Launches Phase 1/2 Registration Clinical Study of Shize Biotech's XS411 Injection for Early-Onset Parkinson's Disease

Recently, the launch meeting for "China's first randomized, double-blind, controlled clinical-grade iPSC-derived dopaminergic neural progenitor cell therapy (XS411 Injection) for early-onset Parkinson's disease registration clinical Phase 1/2 study" was officially held at Huashan Hospital, led by China's National Neurological Disease Medical Center at Fudan University-affiliated Huashan Hospital and co-organized with the Second Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University. This gold-standard clinical trial employs an allogeneic universal "off-the-shelf" iPSC-derived dopaminergic neural progenitor cell therapy product (XS411 Injection) independently developed by Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company Shize Biotech.

Dr. Xiang Li, founder of Shize Biotech, stated: "After more than four years of dedicated investment and intensive R&D, Shize Biotech's allogeneic universal 'off-the-shelf' iPSC-derived dopaminergic neural progenitor cell injection (XS411 Injection) received simultaneous approval for registration clinical trials in both China and the United States without any deficiencies requiring supplementation. Abogen Biosciences' ABO2102 IND Application Approved by Center for Drug Evaluation, NMPA

Recently, the Center for Drug Evaluation (CDE) under the National Medical Products Administration announced that ABO2102, a novel mRNA cancer vaccine targeting multiple KRAS mutations independently developed by Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company Abogen Biosciences, has received clinical trial implied approval for its Investigational New Drug (IND) application (acceptance number: CXSL2500388).

As China's first therapeutic cancer vaccine targeting multiple KRAS mutations, ABO2102 is applicable to solid tumor patients carrying any of five common KRAS mutations. It represents a major advancement in the challenging field of previously "undruggable" targets.

ABO2102 received FDA clinical trial approval in the United States in May this year. This approval in China marks a significant milestone of dual filing and dual approval in both China and the United States, fully demonstrating Abogen Biosciences' globally leading innovative capabilities and international strategic positioning in tumor immunotherapy.

Recently, the iFlowX™ Digital Pressure Pump developed by Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company NorthMedi officially received Class II medical device registration approval from the Guangdong Provincial Medical Products Administration. As the first digital pressure pump system with intelligent features, it leverages three key technologies to enhance surgical convenience and precision, advancing basic consumables into a new era of "digitalization and intelligence."

The product uses advanced algorithms to accurately identify calcification fracture characteristics and immediately triggers a flashing alarm, effectively ensuring surgical safety and improving patient prognosis. After detecting stable pressure values, it automatically starts timing to provide surgeons with precise drug-coated balloon inflation time references, enhancing surgical precision and standardization. It stores and clearly displays the peak pressure values and corresponding inflation durations for the last three inflation cycles, allowing physicians to quickly review historical inflation data.

Sino Biological Launches Chikungunya Virus Mutant Strain Recombinant Proteins and Related Antibodies

Recently, an imported Chikungunya fever outbreak occurred in Foshan, Guangdong Province. Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company Sino Biological (301047.SZ) responded swiftly by launching recombinant proteins and related antibodies for Chikungunya virus (CHIKV) mutant strains, having previously successfully developed CHIKV E1 and E2 recombinant proteins and related antibodies.

Berry Genomics Officially Launches Localized Third-Generation HiFi Sequencing Thalassemia Detection Solution

Recently, Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company Berry Genomics (000710.SZ) introduced third-generation HiFi sequencing technology to deeply cultivate the thalassemia prevention and control field, officially launching a localized third-generation HiFi sequencing thalassemia detection solution that brings precision testing within reach.

Based on the Sequel II CNDx sequencing platform, the solution requires no DNA fragmentation and can directly read full-length gene sequences, accurately detecting genetic variation information and arrangement patterns from individual DNA molecules. It enables simultaneous testing for α-thalassemia and β-thalassemia from just 1 µL of whole blood.

Mofan Power Co-Develops China's First Megawatt-Class Fully Domestic Hydrogen Gas Turbine, Successfully Passes Acceptance

Recently, Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company Mofan Power announced that Zhejiang Energy Group and related units convened an acceptance review meeting in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province for the "Megawatt-Class Small Natural Gas/Hydrogen Mixed-Fuel Gas Turbine R&D" project. Multiple experts in the gas turbine industry jointly reviewed and approved the project's R&D achievements, unanimously concluding that the project has reached internationally advanced standards. This not only means that Mofan Power's megawatt-class hydrogen-mixed gas turbine, forged through five years of refinement, was successfully tested at Zhejiang Energy Xiaoshan Power Plant's test base, but also represents a milestone in the company's journey toward developing domestically produced gas turbines for the broader hydrogen economy.

For wide-range hydrogen combustion, this project adopted the world's first micro-cluster combustion technology route. When numerous evaluation indicators — including operating windows, staged switching, emissions performance, wall temperature control, temperature distribution, and thermoacoustic characteristics — as well as practical boundary conditions such as nozzle configuration, channel structure, end matching, and even fuel orifice diameter were all laid before the team, hydrogen combustion proved to be a world-class challenge. Throughout this process, the combustion team made repeated trips between design and test iterations, conducting multiple rounds of small-scale experiments and full-temperature, full-pressure, full-scale tests, ultimately conquering the global challenge of "safe, stable, low-emission" combustion for both pure hydrogen and hydrogen-blended fuels. They completed the finalization of China's first megawatt-class fully domestic gas turbine hydrogen combustor.
