Cewu Lu

Cewu Lu is a professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a co-founder of Qiongche Intelligence (穹彻智能), an embodied intelligence startup incubated by robotics company Flexiv in 2023 . He was a recipient of the 2023 Xplorer Prize ("科学探索奖") and previously served as a postdoc at Stanford University's AI Lab . At the 2024 World Artificial Intelligence Conference, he delivered a speech titled "Qiongche Embodied Brain and Embodied Intelligence Scaling Law," examining whether the field had found its own equivalent to the scaling laws driving language and vision models . He is also identified as Flexiv's chief AI scientist and a "Chang Jiang Scholar" (长江学者) . In August 2024, he joined Flexiv founder and CEO Wang Shiquan in receiving Shanghai Mayor Gong Zheng for an inspection visit to the company . ZhenFund, which participated in Flexiv's Series A round, has featured Lu in its Z Talk series .
