Huawei Cloud is Huawei's cloud computing division, positioned as the company's vehicle for B2B technology services and enterprise digitization . The unit organizes its technology strategy around vertical integration—stacking cloud, AI, backbone networks, edge computing, and 5G into a full hybrid-cloud offering—and horizontal reconstruction of compute, data, and media resources, as then-chief architect Gu Jiongjiong described at a 2020 Gaorong Ventures private event .

Huawei Cloud has built a partner ecosystem with Chinese VC-backed startups and tech firms. It has signed cooperation agreements with ONES (enterprise R&D management) , Infinigence AI , Luchen Tech , and Mindverse ; joined with Neolix and China Mobile on 5.5G-plus-Ascend autonomous-driving infrastructure ; and partnered SiliconFlow to deploy DeepSeek models on Huawei's Ascend chips . It also runs joint events with Gaorong Ventures, including a 2020 closed-door session on 5G, cloud, and AI strategy and a 2023 program at Huawei's Songshan Lake base for founders exploring overseas markets .
