Inno-chip

Inno-chip (韦豪创芯) is a semiconductor-focused investment fund backed by Will Semiconductor (韦尔股份), one of China's largest image sensor chip companies. It was established with cornerstone investment and support from Will Semiconductor, giving it deep roots in the semiconductor supply chain .

The fund's strategy centers on strategic co-investment with portfolio companies rather than passive financial backing. It led the Pre-A+ round in Raysolve (镭昱半导体), a Micro-LED chip developer, in 2022 alongside AAC Technologies, with the three parties explicitly planning to "jointly leverage industrial synergies" to advance AR display solutions . Inno-chip continued its involvement with Raysolve through a subsequent Pre-A3 strategic round in late 2023 . More recently, in March 2026, it participated as a follower in a 50 million yuan round for HeTan Intelligence (合碳智能/C12.ai), an AI lab robotics company .

The fund's positioning reflects a broader pattern in Chinese semiconductor investing: chain-lead capital that combines financial returns with strategic supply-chain integration, particularly in hardtech sectors like display chips, sensors, and AI infrastructure.
