Jiabin He

Jiabin He is the founder and CEO of Ropet, an AI pet robot startup that drew attention as one of the dark horses at CES 2025 . His career spans Microsoft Research Asia, Baidu, Ling Technology (物灵科技), and ByteDance, where he led development of products including the LUKA picture-book robot and PICO 4 VR headset . He studied product design at Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology . In founding Ropet, he set out to build what he calls a company that creates "love" and "moments of love" — framing the project as an open-ended search for the "truth of user experience" in companion robotics . As he described it in a 十字路口Crossing interview, he sees a future where companion robots become daily life partners and intends to be the one to make that future real, even if the path means working through self-doubt and skepticism .
