Unitree H1

Unitree H1 is the first general-purpose humanoid robot from Unitree, the Chinese robotics company founded by Wang Xingxing. Per a Source Code Capital piece, it was developed in just the first half of 2023 — famously rushed out for the World Robot Conference without a shell or dexterous hands, which Unitree was still building in-house — and reached small-batch production and shipment by the second half of that year, with AI-driven software iterating rapidly through several major version upgrades . Its mainstream breakthrough came at the 2025 Spring Festival Gala, where H1 units performed the "Yangko Bot" dance in what Unitree billed as the world's first large-scale, fully AI-driven humanoid cluster performance — a moment that, as 十字路口Crossing put it, brought the concept of humanoid robots "into countless households" .
