Yueban Power

Yueban Power (越伴动力) is a Chinese robotics startup building companion robots that deliberately avoid the "useful tool" framing of most embodied-intelligence products. Founded by Shibo—described by some as a "younger Zhihuijun" (稚晖君) for having hand-built more than 30 robots across mechanical, hardware, software and motion-control stacks since his freshman year—the company shipped a 12 kg bipedal unit with 21 joints in under six months .

Per a ZhenFund piece, the robot is designed around five traits: biomimetic form, high dynamic performance, proactive empathetic interaction, long-term memory retention and evolving personality—positioning it as a "living" companion rather than a pre-programmed gadget . The firm raised a seed round from ZhenFund at the end of 2024 .
