On the evening of March 31, MaHui member Biren Technology announced that its first general-purpose GPU chip, the BR100 series, had successfully powered on in its initial test run. In terms of core performance design standards, the BR100 series is the highest-compute general-purpose GPU chip developed domestically in China, directly targeting the latest flagship products recently released by international competitors.
Industry analysts say the successful power-on of Biren Technology's BR100 series marks the company as one of the very few domestic high-end GPU chip enterprises to truly reach international top-tier performance at the core level.

China's Highest-Compute General-Purpose GPU Chip Successfully Powers On at Biren Technology
The BR100 series is developed based on Biren Technology's independently created chip architecture, using a mature 7nm process node and incorporating multiple cutting-edge chip design, manufacturing, and packaging technologies including Chiplet. It offers advantages in high compute power, high energy efficiency, and high versatility. Testing and optimization work for the BR100 series general-purpose GPU chip is currently proceeding smoothly.
At the same time, Biren Technology continues to build a complete and user-friendly software platform and technical ecosystem, committed to helping users achieve "seamless migration" between ecosystems quickly through hardware-software co-optimization — turning performance specifications into powerful "effective compute." After completing follow-up work, computing products equipped with Biren Technology's BR100 series general-purpose GPU chips will be officially released to the market.
When the BR100 general-purpose GPU chip series was first initiated two years ago, it was designed with forward-looking core performance benchmarks targeting products that industry giants planned to release two years later. This meant extremely high hardware design difficulty and enormous challenges for innovation at the chip architecture level. The successful initial power-on of the BR100 series general-purpose GPU chip marks a key breakthrough for Biren Technology in the R&D of domestically produced large-compute general-purpose GPU chips.
