Beijing Infinite Aerospace Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Infinite Aerospace") recently completed a multi-million-yuan angel round, led by Unity Ventures with Inno Angel Fund participating. The raised capital will be used for the company's Space Bus product development, accelerating the commercialization of China's on-orbit services.
Infinite Aerospace is committed to accelerating the commercialization of on-orbit services in China's commercial aerospace sector. The company's self-developed Space Bus series of on-orbit service vehicles can provide space transportation services between orbital altitudes of 200 km and 36,000 km, solving the "last mile" problem of current satellite deployment. With intelligent constellation deployment capabilities, it enables multi-satellite rideshare launches to different orbits, making satellite deployment more economical, rapid, and accurate.
The company's core team comes from the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, with an average of 15 years of industry experience. They have undertaken the development of national key projects, with multiple members winning national and military-level science and technology awards, and have been granted numerous defense patents and national invention patents.
Since 2020, an increasing number of foreign satellite deployment services have adopted orbital transfer vehicles. Hundreds of satellites globally have been deployed into orbit through such vehicles. Major industry players have entered the field, betting on this entirely new commercial aerospace track. Tom Mueller, SpaceX's co-founder and first employee, left to start his own company developing this type of vehicle, aiming to provide better orbital logistics services. Blue Origin also established a space systems division in recent years, launching the Blue Ring vehicle project to address two of the most difficult challenges in today's aerospace field: building space infrastructure and improving on-orbit mobility.
Infinite Aerospace's "Space Bus Vehicle" will fill the gap in China's commercial aerospace sector in this area, providing multi-satellite deployment solutions to different orbits, with technical parameters reaching internationally leading levels. Compared to traditional satellite deployment models, deployment costs can be reduced by up to approximately 66%, and orbit insertion time can be shortened by about 85%. In the future, the "Space Bus Vehicle" can provide on-orbit life extension and deorbit reentry services for in-orbit satellites and other spacecraft, and deliver various types of payloads to more distant destinations, such as geostationary orbit (GEO), the Moon, and Mars.
