TicenoBio Raises Over 200 Million Yuan in Series C Qiming Venture Partners Co-Leads

TicenoBio, a Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company, announced the completion of a Series C financing round exceeding 200 million yuan. The round was co-led by existing shareholder Qiming Venture Partners.

The funds will focus on advancing the company's core pipeline: Phase 3 trials and subsequent commercial preparation for LP-003, a next-generation anti-IgE antibody, as well as Phase 2 development across multiple indications for LP-005, a first-in-class dual-function complement antibody — further strengthening TicenoBio's innovation edge in allergy and complement-mediated diseases.

LP-003 is the most advanced anti-IgE antibody in development globally. It has entered Phase 3 trials for allergic rhinitis, with a New Drug Application/Biologics License Application (NDA/BLA) expected in early 2026. Phase 3 trials for a second indication, chronic spontaneous urticaria, will launch in 2026. Phase 2 trials for additional indications including allergic asthma and food allergy are also underway, with continued expansion of the product's commercial potential.

LP-005 is a first-in-class dual-function antibody fusion protein that simultaneously inhibits all three complement pathways. It has demonstrated significant efficacy in Phase 2 trials for paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH). In 2025, clinical studies will initiate for complement-mediated kidney diseases (including IgA nephropathy and C3 glomerulopathy) and other conditions. Cure Genetics Publishes AAV Therapy Research in Tumor Immunotherapy in Molecular Therapy Oncology

Recently, leveraging tumor-targeted AAV vectors, Cure Genetics, a Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company, published a study in Molecular Therapy Oncology on the application of AAV therapy in tumor immunotherapy (project code: CGC-008). Using its self-developed targeted AAV delivery technology (targeted viral particles), the company precisely delivers interleukin-12 to the tumor microenvironment to develop innovative therapies for ovarian and endometrial cancers, exploring the feasibility of AAV gene therapy in large indications.

The CGC-008 product offers three key advantages: its innovative tAAV9 vector demonstrates strong tumor cell preference in both in vivo tissue distribution and cellular infection, effectively preventing toxicity from liver off-target effects; after infecting tumor cells, tAAV9 enables IL-12 expressed by tumor cells to locally activate TME immune cells and enhance immune cell infiltration into solid tumors, reducing the risk of IL-12 circulating in peripheral blood; as tumors are suppressed, IL-12-expressing tumor cells gradually decrease, thereby lowering IL-12 expression — this downregulation mechanism provides an additional safety safeguard.
