Helium Starlight (氦星光联) is a Chinese space laser communications company — a developer of optical communication terminals for satellites — and a ZhenFund angel investment: ZhenFund was its first-round investor from the company's founding in 2021 and has backed it through multiple rounds since . The company has positioned itself as the exclusive terminal payload provider for China's first space-based intelligent computing constellation, the "Three-Body Computing Constellation" , and in September 2026 it set a commercial spaceflight laser-communication record with a single stable link of over 192 hours . In 2025 it closed a nearly RMB 200 million Series A1 round — co-invested by Meishan Huantian Industrial Development Group, Luxin Venture Capital's Baoding Diangu Fund, Hebei Coastal Industrial Investment Fund, Zhongshan Venture Capital, Zhongyi Mingyuan and others — earmarked for building optical ground transceiver stations nationwide to complete a space-ground integrated network . Per ZhenFund, the company has been raising its in-house R&D rate (including self-development of core optoelectronic components), driving down costs, and scaling toward mass production of laser communication terminals, with an integrated R&D–production–sales footprint across the Yangtze Delta, Sichuan-Chongqing, and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei economic zones ; it has also partnered with China Unicom to launch a portable wireless laser communication terminal .
