Lightelligence (曦智科技) is a global AI silicon photonics chip company founded in 2017 by MIT physics PhD Shen Yichen (沈亦晨), positioning itself as a pioneer in opto-electronic hybrid computing . The company went public on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on April 28, 2026, becoming what ZhenFund described as "the world's first AI silicon photonics chip stock" and the first listed company in the opto-electronic hybrid computing track .

Lightelligence operates two main product lines: optical interconnect and optical computing. According to Frost & Sullivan data cited by ZhenFund, it was the first company globally to achieve large-scale deployment of opto-electronic hybrid computing power. In 2025, it held approximately 88.3% market share by revenue in China's independent scale-up optical interconnect solutions market, supporting multiple thousand-GPU clusters, and its optical computing chips ranked first globally in cumulative shipments for two consecutive years . The IPO attracted cornerstone investments totaling $209.9 million from 20 global institutions including Alibaba, GIC, BlackRock, and Fidelity International, representing 68.14% of the offering .

ZhenFund was a seed-round backer of Lightelligence, and the company has been featured alongside other ZhenFund portfolio companies at major tech events including WAIC and was selected for MIT Technology Review's "50 Smartest Companies" list in 2025 .
