Raytron

Raytron (镭昱 / Raysolve) is a Chinese micro-LED display chip company that was among the first in the industry to achieve AR-grade monolithic full-color Micro-LED micro-displays . Its core team hails from the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, with deep experience in cutting-edge optical chip design and manufacturing . Since its founding, the company has focused on product miniaturization and high brightness, and in March 2025 was described by Gaorong Future as having pushed the technology to the point where its micro-displays—paired with optical waveguides—are seen as an ideal choice for AR displays, breaking the bulk constraints of earlier AR glasses . The company's technical milestones include lighting up what it called the world's first monolithic full-color Micro-LED micro-display for AR glasses, with 0.39-inch, 0.22-inch, and 0.11-inch versions announced across 2022–2023 .
