ThinkingData (数数科技) is a game big-data analytics and intelligence company backed by Linear Capital, which lists it among its early bets alongside Horizon Robotics and Tezign . The firm was in its seventh year as of 2022, when co-founder and CTO Zhou Jin unveiled its flagship product evolution at that year's Game Data-Driven Conference . Originally built around ThinkingAnalytics (TA), a private-deployment analytics platform, the company upgraded in 2022 to ThinkingEngine (TE), shifting from pure data analysis to a closed-loop system that layers user profiling, audience segmentation and full-scenario touchpoint reach on top of its data infrastructure . TE was pitched as a way to let game studios focus on their core business while the engine handled the full data-to-operation cycle . In funding, ThinkingData raised a RMB 100 million Series C+ in August 2022 led by GGV Capital, following earlier B and C rounds in 2021, and had begun international expansion into Japan with plans for Korea, Southeast Asia and Europe . More recently, as of 2025, it has struck partnerships with Korea's ONE Store and with Hypergryph, the studio behind Arknights, to support Chinese studios' overseas push and to power live-ops for specific titles .
