Tophant

Tophant (斗象科技) is a Chinese cybersecurity company and an early portfolio company of Linear Capital, which has backed it since at least 2022 . The firm is led by founder and CEO Xie Chen (谢忱), who was named to *Fortune* China's "40 Under 40 Business Elites" list in 2024 . Tophant's products center on AI-powered security operations: in June 2024 it partnered with Huawei Cloud to release XCP (XSOC Co-Pilot), an AI copilot for security operations centers, and XAirbag, a guardrail product for third-party large models . Its security large model is trained on over 80 billion tokens of cybersecurity domain data drawn from its own threat intelligence platform and vulnerability database . In September 2025, Tophant raised a 200 million yuan bridge strategic round to expand R&D in AI security technology and platform security intelligence, with proceeds also earmarked to lay groundwork for a future IPO . By May 2026, it had launched CowboyClaw, billed as China's first cross-platform "security Agent employee," initially deployed as a vulnerability operations specialist capable of handling 80% of routine vulnerability work .
