XYZ Robotics (星猿哲科技) is a Chinese robotics company focused on hand-eye coordination, led by founder and CEO Zhou Jiaji . It raised a $35 million Series B round led by Capital Today in July 2021, with follow-on from existing shareholders Gaorong Capital, 5Y Capital, and Source Code Capital , then closed a nearly $40 million B+ round in June 2022, again led by Capital Today, bringing its total funding past $100 million . 5Y Capital managing director Peter Chen, who led the firm's investment in XYZ Robotics, described the company as part of a portfolio of robotics and AI bets that also includes Hai Robotics, AgileX Robotics, and Lightelligence .
