Yocar

Yocar is the alias of Feng Ji (冯骥), founder and creative force behind Game Science, the studio behind *Black Myth: Wukong*. He established the company in June 2014 and first drew industry notice in 2007 with a polemical essay attacking the exploitative design of online games . In the years leading up to *Black Myth*'s 2024 release, Yocar was described as anxious about being overhyped, telling ZhenFund in 2020 that he struggled to feel happy before something actually happened . Daniel, the game's first investor, recalled lending Yocar his father's car to help him get around Hangzhou after the studio relocated there, and noted that Yocar's approach to game-making was "so simple there's nothing to say about it" . By early 2025, Yocar had become part of a celebrated circle of Hangzhou founders alongside DeepSeek's Liang Wenfeng, Unitree's Wang Xingxing, and BrainCo's Han Bicheng .
