GravityXR (万有引力) is an XR spatial-computing chip design company founded in September 2021, focused on developing dedicated chips and related components for AR glasses, VR headsets and MR headsets . The company aims to deliver a complete next-generation XR spatial-computing technology solution built around core chips, with hardware technology and algorithms as supporting pillars .

As of October 2023, GravityXR had raised four rounds totaling hundreds of millions of RMB within two years, with its Series A led by Lisi Capital and joined by Ningbo Tongshang Fund, China Merchants Venture Capital and Haiding Capital, while returning backers included miHoYo, Yaotu Capital, Tongge Ventures, Zhongyuan Capital, 37 Interactive Entertainment and Sequoia Capital . Earlier investors ranged from Gaorong Capital and 5Y Capital to strategic players like Goertek, PICO and miHoYo through the Tongge Ventures vehicle .

The founding CEO previously led R&D teams at Apple for multiple years, and the core founding team draws from Huawei, Apple and Meta with deep experience across chips, display, perception and image vision for XR . The company's first product, a dedicated chip for VR/MR targeting mass production in 2024, was designed to optimize display and sensor performance, offload rendering from the main processor, and reduce motion sickness through proprietary algorithms . 5Y Capital, an early backer, highlighted that GravityXR's specialized chips enable users to perceive their surroundings with minimal latency—a critical factor for experience-driven XR devices .
