Hyde Hydrogen Energy (also known as HydoTech) is a green hydrogen technology company founded by Tsinghua Ph.D. Changsheng Yao , with ZhenFund as its angel investor in 2021 . The company develops electrolytic hydrogen production systems, anchored by its flagship Hydolyser® product line spanning high-pressure, low-pressure, and AEM variants , and couples this hardware with its self-developed HydoOS® intelligent management system to offer full-lifecycle monitoring and on-site maintenance capabilities . Its technology has drawn strategic investment from NIO Capital (with some arrangement executed through CLP Group) and follow-on commitments from existing shareholders Xianghe Capital and Joy Capital as of September 2025 , alongside commercial partnerships with Saudi Aramco, Sinopec, Shell, and TotalEnergies . Hyde has deployed over 20 benchmark projects across China, Europe, and the Middle East in applications ranging from hydrogen refueling stations to green fuel production and industrial decarbonization , and received the HydrogenSphere Innovation Technology Award in September 2025 .
