Jiawei Gan

Jiawei Gan (干嘉伟) is a veteran Chinese operations executive known for building offline sales armies at two of the country's largest internet companies. He joined Alibaba early as its 67th employee and became a representative figure of the "China Supply Iron Army," then moved to Meituan in November 2011 where he served as COO and later president of the food delivery business group, forging Meituan's own ground-force culture . After leaving Meituan, he became an operating partner at Hillhouse Capital and also makes personal investments . His management philosophy, developed through hundreds of hours of face-to-face team meetings, centers on process-over-results discipline and returning to fundamentals in B2B sales .
