Jiawei Gan

Jiawei Gan is a veteran Chinese tech operator and investor best known as a former Alibaba "China Supply Iron Army" sales leader and later COO of Meituan. Per 高榕创投 materials, he joined Alibaba early as employee No. 67 and became a representative figure of its legendary B2B sales culture . After Meituan, he moved into investing: 暗涌Waves reported he joined Hillhouse Capital as an operating advisor in 2017, where he also did hands-on post-investment work such as a half-year stint helping Southeast Asian e-commerce platform SEA . More recently, 暗涌Waves noted he has been making personal investments as well . He has remained visible in founder circles through periodic sharing sessions on enterprise sales and team building, including multiple appearances at Gaorong Ventures' "Ronghui" events .
