WeView (纬景储能) is a grid-scale energy storage battery company focused on zinc-iron flow battery technology and intelligent manufacturing . It develops and manufactures what CCTV-2's 2022 energy series called an "extra-large rechargeable battery" — a flow battery system suited to massive storage applications . The company drew national attention that November when its demonstration project in Shangrao, Jiangxi appeared on state television .

On funding: WeView closed multiple consecutive rounds exceeding 400 million RMB within six months through September 2022, with backers including Gaorong Ventures, Pine VC, and ZhenFund . Gaorong led the Pre-A round and followed on in subsequent rounds . By March 2023 the company announced a Series A of over 600 million RMB, co-led by Guohe Xinli and Zhuhai Dahengqin Group, with Gaorong again participating .
