Cloopen (容联云通讯) is a Chinese cloud communications company that went public with a debut surge of 200% and a peak market capitalization of $9.2 billion, per a 2021 Oasis Capital review of its listing . The company's investor history traces back to 2013, when HSG (Sequoia China) assisted its founding team with corporate restructuring and led its Series A round, later re-upping in the Series C and E rounds to become its largest financial backer . Trustbridge Partners led an early round in 2015 through partner Zhang Jinjian, who later founded Oasis Capital and made Cloopen his new firm's first investment . The company raised a $125 million Series F in November 2020, led by China State-owned Capital Venture Capital Fund with participation from Tencent's Image Frame Investment (HK) Limited, among others — then the largest private equity financing in China's cloud communications sector . Cloopen has also made venture investments itself, including co-leading the angel round in Dustess (Chenfeng Information) alongside Oasis Capital in 2020 .
