Hello Inc. (哈啰出行, formerly Hellobike) is a Chinese mobility and local-life services platform that started in bike-sharing and expanded into a diversified business spanning two-wheelers (shared bikes, e-bikes, battery swapping via 小哈换电), four-wheeler services (hitch rides, ride-hailing), and local services like hotels . It was an early Gaorong Ventures portfolio company , renamed from 哈罗单车 to 哈啰出行 in September 2018, and by late 2021 had over 500 million registered users across 400+ cities, having raised more than $500 million that year including a $280 million round backed by Ant Group and Alibaba . Gaorong described it as a technology-driven operator—over 1,000 R&D staff, proprietary hardware, and profitability in more than half the cities where its bikes operated as of 2019 . More recently it has pushed into autonomous driving: in June 2025 it formally entered the Robotaxi race with over 3 billion RMB raised from strategic investors Ant Group and CATL, partnering with both on L4 technology, and signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Horizon Robotics in September 2025 .
