Ruining Bio

Ruining Bio (瑞凝生物) is a Shanghai-based biotech company developing absorbable hydrogel products for radiation oncology, notably its core product Respacio®, an absorbable spacer hydrogel used to protect healthy tissue during radiotherapy for cervical cancer . The company has been backed by Qiming Venture Partners since at least its Series A round and through multiple subsequent rounds, with Qiming co-leading its nearly 100 million yuan Series C in early 2026 alongside Fudan Science and Technology Fund . Ruining Bio's clinical program has produced Phase 3 data validating Respacio®'s efficacy and safety in cervical cancer radiotherapy, presented at ESTRO 2025 by Peking Union Medical College Hospital investigators , and the firm has pursued commercial partnerships including a 2026 strategic collaboration with Chia Tai Weikang, a Nanjing Chia Tai Tianqing subsidiary .
