Wenchao Ding

Wenchao Ding is a young scientist in embodied intelligence and a former Huawei "genius youth" recruit who serves as chief scientist at Tashi Intelligent Navigation (它石智航), a Chinese embodied-intelligence startup he co-founded in 2024 with CEO Chen Yilun and others . At Huawei he built the end-to-end decision network for autonomous driving from scratch, and he later became a researcher at Fudan University's Robotics Research Institute, where he developed Fudan's first humanoid robot . At Tashi he has led the release of the WIYH real-world embodied multimodal dataset—described as the industry's first large-scale cross-industry, cross-task collection integrating vision, language, touch and action data—and the company's full-stack AWE2.0 model architecture .
