Houmo AI (后摩智能) is a Chinese AI chip company in Qiming Venture Partners' portfolio, focused on inference chips that run large models at the endpoint and edge rather than in the cloud . Its flagship product line is the Houmo Manjie M50, launched in July 2025, which delivers 160 TOPS@INT8 (100 TFLOPS@bFP16) with up to 48GB of memory at roughly 10W of typical power — enough, per Qiming Venture Partners, to run local models from 1.5B to 70B parameters on PCs, smart voice devices, and robots — alongside a hardware family of M.2 cards, accelerator cards, and compute boxes . By mid-2026 the company was showcasing "M50 Inside" terminals at WAIC 2026 and claimed deep partnerships with dozens of device makers including Lenovo, Great Wall, and China Mobile, pushing the chip into AI PCs, desktop robots, AI NAS, and agent computers at commercial scale . It has also begun work on next-generation DRAM-PIM technology — embedding compute directly into DRAM arrays — targeting over 1TB/s of on-chip bandwidth with triple the energy efficiency .
