Yilun Chen

Yilun Chen is the founder and CEO of Tashi Zhihang (它石智航), an embodied intelligence startup he established in February 2025 after leaving Tsinghua University's AIR lab . He previously spent roughly five years at Eaton building a global innovation center in Shanghai from scratch, then joined DJI before building Huawei's autonomous driving business from zero to what Linear Capital described as "shocking the industry" . At Tashi, Chen assembled what he calls a "hexagonal dream team" including former Baidu executive Li Zhenyu and former Huawei "genius youth" Wenchao Ding, with whom he had collaborated for over a decade . The company has raised multiple rounds including a $120 million angel round led by BlueRun Ventures and a $455 million pre-A round, with Chen describing his fundraising approach as "a process of sharing ideas and making friends" . Tashi's mission centers on physical-world AI and general-purpose robotics, with its AWE 3.0 embodied foundation model and early deployments in precision manufacturing like automotive wire harness assembly .
