Flexiv

Flexiv (非夕科技) is a general-purpose intelligent robotics company founded in 2016 by Wang Shiquan (王世全) and multiple Stanford alumni, with its core team drawn from Stanford's robotics and AI laboratories . The company pioneered the "adaptive robot" category, building on human-like force control and hierarchical AI to give robots dexterous manipulation capabilities in unstructured environments . After reaching unicorn status at a $1 billion valuation following its 2022 B+ round , Flexiv completed a Series C funding round exceeding $100 million in June 2025, co-led by Yonggui Fund and GF Xinde Investment Management , followed by a further new funding round in March 2026 led by Invus . The company has since evolved from an adaptive robot manufacturer toward positioning itself as core infrastructure for the general intelligence era, launching products including its Enlight robot series, Orion controller architecture, and MICO humanoid platform at its March 2026 FLEXIVERSE event . Flexiv also strategically incubated Noematrix Intelligence (穹彻智能), an embodied AI startup founded in 2023 .
