Pulnovo Medical is a Chinese medical device company developing catheter-based radiofrequency ablation therapies for pulmonary hypertension and heart failure. Founded in 2013, it pioneered the percutaneous pulmonary artery denervation (PADN) procedure, a minimally invasive treatment targeting the core mechanisms of cardiopulmonary disease . Its PADN system—comprising a disposable circular radiofrequency ablation catheter and ablation device—became the first China-original therapy in this category to receive NMPA approval in December 2023 .

The company has raised multiple funding rounds with consistent backing from Gaorong Ventures since 2021, including continued investment through its Series C in early 2025 and a $100 million Series D in April 2026 led by Medtronic . Medtronic also signed a commercial cooperation agreement with Pulnovo, framing potential future collaboration .
