Xi Wang (曦望, also branded Sunrise) is a Chinese AI inference GPU startup that has emerged as the country's first pure-play inference GPU unicorn, valued at over 10 billion RMB . The company develops full-stack, self-designed inference computing chips and has moved fast since spinning out independently just over a year ago, closing seven funding rounds totaling roughly 4 billion RMB as of April 2026 .

Heart Capital invested in Xi Wang in 2025, with partner Yan Han leading the deal, as part of the fund's broader bet on compute infrastructure ; Gaorong Ventures joined in early 2026 and doubled down in subsequent rounds . On the product side, Xi Wang released its next-generation Qiwang S3 inference GPU in January 2026 , and has pursued strategic partnerships across the stack: a joint R&D center with Zhejiang University , a "trillion tokens for one cent" cost-reduction initiative with SenseTime and ParrotsCage , and industrial compute collaborations with SANY Heavy Industry and GCL-Poly to anchor low-carbon, high-efficiency infrastructure in real-world applications . The company also appeared alongside SenseTime, China Great Wall, and KylinSoft in a domestically developed all-Chinese smart office integrated system unveiled at the 2025 Global AI Conference .
