D-Robotics (地瓜机器人) is a Chinese embodied-AI infrastructure company spun out from Horizon Robotics in 2024, aiming to become what it calls "the Wintel of the robotics era" — a full-stack, open development platform spanning chips, algorithms, and cloud-edge software . CEO Wang Cong, formerly head of Horizon's AIoT and robotics division, leads a founding team that took shape inside Horizon as early as 2020 and was formally independent by May 2025 .

The company has moved fast on fundraising: it closed a $100 million Series A in May 2025 co-led by Monolith and Hillhouse, with 5Y Capital, Linear Capital, and others joining ; a $120 million B1 round in March 2026 where all major prior investors doubled down ; and a $150 million B2 in April 2026 that brought in strategic backers including a retail-tech giant, Prosperity7 Ventures, and Envision Group, pushing total B-round funding to $270 million . Linear Capital, an early Horizon investor, has backed every round since inception .

Its product lineup covers 5 to 500 TOPS of edge compute, targeting humanoid robots, quadrupeds, service bots, and logistics AMRs . Beyond hardware, D-Robotics has built partnerships in simulation training — notably with Motphys and SpatialVerse — and opened a joint embodied-intelligence lab with Shenzhen University .
