Shengshu Technology

Shengshu Technology (生数科技) is a Chinese AI company developing multimodal generative models, backed by Ant Group and BV Baidu Ventures . BV's team invested on the thesis that next-generation multimodality was the inevitable trend, with Shengshu building on a Transformer architecture to enable cross-modal generation across text, image, 3D, and video . The company was among at least eight domestic firms that launched new video-generation products or models following OpenAI's Sora release, as noted in a mid-2024 industry review . More recently, in April 2026, robotics startup Shenpu Intelligence disclosed a partnership with Shengshu to combine "foundation model layer + scenario application layer" capabilities, with Shengshu providing the base model and Shenpu contributing embodied-intelligence data from real-world deployment .
