Founded in 2019 and headquartered in Nanjing, the company operates a one-stop cold-chain service matching shippers with refrigerated truck capacity across more than 300 cities and over 100,000 routes .

As of mid-2023, the platform had amassed over 600,000 cold-chain shippers and registered more than 270,000 refrigerated vehicles—representing roughly 70% of China's total refrigerated truck fleet—with drivers having transported over 21 million tons of cold-chain cargo in the first five months of that year alone . The platform's matching algorithm enables average pickup times of about 13 minutes, with some orders matched instantly .

In June 2023, Yunmanman Cold Chain raised a Series B round of several hundred million RMB, co-led by Heart Capital and GGV Capital, with Xianghe Capital and Sinotrans Industry Fund participating—Heart Capital's second time leading a round in the company . Heart Capital founding partner Yan Han, who had previously invested in Full Truck Alliance's Series A in 2014 and backed it through seven rounds until its 2021 NYSE listing, cited the firm's "strong execution and market expansion capabilities" as key to deepening digital transformation in logistics .
