LandSpace (蓝箭航天) is a Chinese small-lift launch vehicle manufacturer and one of the private rocket companies that emerged after China opened its space sector to private capital in 2015 . The company has attracted investment from a mix of state-linked and private capital, including aerospace conglomerate AVIC Trust, state-backed funds like the National SME Development Fund and Xigao Investment, as well as manufacturing and real estate industrial capital such as Guokai Equipment Fund and Sunac Investment . As of early 2023, LandSpace was regarded as one of the domestic firms most likely to succeed in liquid rocket development, though no Chinese commercial space company had yet achieved normal orbital flight with a liquid rocket — a challenge that has defeated multiple attempts industry-wide since SpaceX .
