RoboSense (速腾聚创, 2498.HK) is a LiDAR and perception-solutions company that pairs chip-driven LiDAR hardware with AI perception software, setting it apart from pure-hardware LiDAR vendors; its systems give cars and robots perception capability . It listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange's main board on January 5, 2024, opening at HK$42.30 per share for a market cap near HK$19 billion — billed at the time as both "China's first intelligent-driving perception stock" and the world's most valuable LiDAR company . Commercially, it has locked in mass-production designated orders from 10+ global automakers including BYD, Great Wall, Chery, Xpeng, Zeekr, Lotus, and Lucid , and as of December 2023 it held designated orders covering 60+ vehicle models across 21 OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers, with 24 models having reached SOP — per Heart Capital's account, the most of any LiDAR firm globally at that point .
